This toolkit aims to support the inclusion of Saving and Credit Groups (SCGs) and Mothers Clubs (MCs) Approach within Red Cross/ Red Crescent community-based programs.

MCs toolkit is organized according to activities: Financial, Community Oriented and Income Generation. SCGs toolkit is included within the MCs toolkit, because VSLA (Village Savings and Loan Association) is the recommended methodology for the Mother's Club financial activity. Based on program objectives, Saving and Credit Groups can also be implemented on a stand-alone basis.

Mother's Club toolkit has been developed in collaboration with the Philippines RC, Ethiopian RC, Nepal RC, Niger RC, Chad RC, and Togo RC, and with the support of IFRC.
