Workshop Report: Experiences in Livelihoods adapted to Climate and Security Risks, MALI

In the Sahel region, the main elements contributing to food insecurity and malnutrition are multi-hazard factors and climate shocks, which are increasingly severe and frequent. These factors affect human lives and livelihoods and cause mass displacement and migration. To strengthen through holistic emergency actions, the most affected populations by this multifaceted crisis, the ECHO Programmatic Pilot Partnership (PPP) is an opportunity to integrate the nexus approach with actions to increase resilience and enhance the dignity of populations. Les Caisses de Résilience. FAO

Consolider la résilience des communautés en renforçant les capacités productives, financières et sociales des ménages à travers une approche intégrée. Mother's Club Integrated Approach

The Mothers' Club is an integrated approach that promotes women's empowerment and resilience through three main components: savings and loans, community sensitization activities on different themes, and income-generating activities. Since 2017, the Livelihoods Resource Center, together with other Red Cross Red Crescent partners, are promoting the approach and creating resources and training to facilitate its implementation.
