Initiative: Case studies on volunteer data management in four National Societies
What have we developed case studies for? - CWB - EN
What have we developed case studies for?

We have developed case studies on four National Societies representing four different situations in relation to volunteer data management (British Red Cross, Fiji Red Cross, Honduran Red Cross and Kyrgyz Red Crescent). The idea behind the development of these case studies is that other National Societies with similar capacities, volume and characteristics can adapt some of the ideas, procedures or solutions shown in the cases to better manage their volunteering data.
Detailed case study report - CWB - EN
Detailed case study report
The detailed report accurately describes and analyses volunteering data management in four National Societies (British Red Cross, Fiji Red Cross, Honduran Red Cross and Kyrgyz Red Crescent). The aim is
-
to enable other National Societies to learn from the experience of particular cases,
-
to identify and extrapolate key lessons relevant to choosing or developing their own volunteering data model,
-
and to anticipate challenges that may not be visible on the horizon, but it will not be long before it is a reality.
The four models are neither exclusive nor mutually exclusive, but we have chosen four typologies that could bring together the major models of volunteer data management that are present in National Societies by trying to identify the most salient features of each one.

Dissemination report of the case studies
The dissemination report is a shorter text than the detailed report. It has a pedagogical and informative vocation, combining theoretical approaches, reflections and conclusions on volunteer data management. It makes a cross analysis of the four cases, which has allowed us to extract lessons that can be extrapolated to other realities.
