GENERAL OBJECTIVES

Introductory online course that will enable you to acquire basic knowledge about what trafficking in human beings is (and what it is not) and its complexity, the Movement's approaches, its role and levels of response, and the issues to consider when taking action. On the other side, the course also provides tools for the trainees to organise and develop awareness-raising actions.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Human Trafficking is an alarmingly rising and serious social issue worldwide involving every year, thousands of men, women and children. Almost every country in the world is affected by trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for trafficked persons. Human trafficking is a crime against humanity and one of the most serious human rights violations.

The course is a basic introductory learning on Human Trafficking, intended to provide a basic knowledge, as well as with a set of related tools that can be adopted when engaging in awareness-raising activities.

  • Module 3: Responding to Human trafficking: Movement Framework; Basic priciples; Survivor centred approach; Response to human trafficking; RCRC the Movement's communicative approach

  • Module 4: Raising awareness. There Red Cross and Red Crescent into action. Tips for effective peer-to-peer learning

El Campus Virtual de CRE permite compartir experiencias, independientemente de la zona territorial de origen de cada persona y hace posible la interacción entre los diferentes colectivos que lo componen (formadores/as, alumnos/as, personal de gestión, ...) sin tener la necesidad de coincidir ni en el espacio, ni en el tiempo. El proceso de aprendizaje se apoya en dos pilares fundamentales: la acción docente por parte de formadores/as expertos/as y la calidad de los materiales didácticos diseñados específicamente para este tipo de formación virtual.
